This Week’s Nails – Zebra Print

I haven’t posted any manicures lately, simply because I have been nursing my broken nails back to full strength and trying to keep them shiny and healthy. I’ve found some great nail care products too so will share them soon.

Today, I wanted to share my latest look…zebra print!

I wish I had a nifty tutorial to go with this but alas I cheated and these are nail stickers! I received them as a gift from a friend for Christmas and couldn’t wait to use them.

Animal print can be a bit full-on but I like the fact that these are see-through in places so you only have the black and white stripes on show.

These nail stickers are from Avon and were really simple to apply and shape to my nails.

I added a clear top coat to extend this manicure and they lasted 6 days with just a tiny bit of peeling on the tips which I think is pretty good for nail wraps.

I think if I wore these again, I may experiment with placing them on top of a nail varnish to add a splash of colour but I would definitely buy from this Avon range in the future.

About hannahhotcakes

My name is Hannah. I live near Bath in a lovely village in the Cotswolds with my husband Ian, the love of my life for the past 10 years, in our dream cottage. I have landed my dream job as a primary school teacher and I can’t think of anything else I would rather be doing. I am a self-confessed foodie and I love to cook, bake, and eat out as much as possible. Here are some things I love: My friends and family, travelling, fresh flowers, good books, having breakfast on my balcony, horror films, Christmas, tea, Las Vegas, lie-ins, red wine, Liverpool FC, music, sausage dogs, Spain, rare steak, fashion, cheese, American TV series and camping. And here are my pet hates: People dressed as animals, whistling, being rushed, being made to wait, girls who act stupid to impress a man, spiders, sunburn and rocket (it comes with EVERYTHING!)
