This Week’s Nails – Pale Pink and Glitter Half-Moon Manicure

This is my last week at school so the end is in sight for half-term and some time to relax. I plan on catching up with friends and family and making some good progress on our house too. I really love this season’s ‘pale nail’ trend so have been looking at all of the milky-white nude colours in my collection and found this beautiful ballerina-pink by Nails Inc. I received this shade, Bloomsbury Way, for Christmas but am only just getting around to trying it out. nail5 I decided to add to this with a glittery half-moon manicure. Using Essie’s Beyond Cosy and my nail tip stickers, I added a bit of bling to the cuticles which I think complements the baby pink colour perfectly. nail6 Despite usually having quite loud, statement nails, I love this pretty look and it is another one which would be perfect if you wanted a simple Valentine’s Day manicure. nail2

About hannahhotcakes

My name is Hannah. I live near Bath in a lovely village in the Cotswolds with my husband Ian, the love of my life for the past 10 years, in our dream cottage. I have landed my dream job as a primary school teacher and I can’t think of anything else I would rather be doing. I am a self-confessed foodie and I love to cook, bake, and eat out as much as possible. Here are some things I love: My friends and family, travelling, fresh flowers, good books, having breakfast on my balcony, horror films, Christmas, tea, Las Vegas, lie-ins, red wine, Liverpool FC, music, sausage dogs, Spain, rare steak, fashion, cheese, American TV series and camping. And here are my pet hates: People dressed as animals, whistling, being rushed, being made to wait, girls who act stupid to impress a man, spiders, sunburn and rocket (it comes with EVERYTHING!)
