I’m feeling much better after yesterday’s little bout of nausea and was back in work today…and it just so happened to be our Christmas dinner at school so I had my first lot of cracker-pulling and joke-telling with my kids!
Seeing as it is getting colder and ever nearer to the big day (15 sleeps to go!) I thought I would share a festive manicure.
I ordered these snowflake stickers recently and love how they have a tiny amount of glitter in them.
I was trying to decide what colour to use as my base coat, as pretty much anything would work here, but in the end I decided on two pastel shades; Wet Cement by Sally Hansen (dreadful name but it’s kind of true!) and Eternal Optimist by Essie, which I received in my Essie ‘Festive Fingers’ box recently.
Both shades apply brilliantly and I think they complement each other well when painted on alternate nails.
I love how the stickers look on both nails – very cute and pretty on the pink and reminiscent of a Fair Isle print on the grey background.
To give this look an extra few days I finished it with a coat of Seche Vite et voila!
