Beauty Review – Seche Vite Top Coat

A quick nail varnish recommendation today. I have been using this topcoat for a month or so now and it is amazing! Every beauty blogger and their dog raves about Seche Vite so when my trusty Calvin Klein topcoat started to run low, I bit the bullet and ordered it.

I first used it with my ‘Roses’ manicure and was really impressed with it. Firstly, it didn’t drag the colours which topcoats can often do. Secondly, it dried really quickly and thirdly it dried to a lovely glossy shine which many people liken to gel nails.

Since I started using this over my manicures, I have noticed that I seem to get an extra couple of days extra wear as this is really hard-wearing.

The only slight negative is that I’m not that keen on the scent of Seche Vite but that’s obviously not what you buy a topcoat for so I would happily overlook that!

You can usually find a bottle of this stuff for £6-9 so it doesn’t cost a fortune but is a bit more than normal high street polishes. I personally think the quality of this product makes the price tag completely worth it and I will definitely be repurchasing Seche Vite.

My name is Hannah. I live near Bath in a lovely village in the Cotswolds with my husband Ian, the love of my life for the past 10 years, in our dream cottage. I have landed my dream job as a primary school teacher and I can’t think of anything else I would rather be doing. I am a self-confessed foodie and I love to cook, bake, and eat out as much as possible. Here are some things I love: My friends and family, travelling, fresh flowers, good books, having breakfast on my balcony, horror films, Christmas, tea, Las Vegas, lie-ins, red wine, Liverpool FC, music, sausage dogs, Spain, rare steak, fashion, cheese, American TV series and camping. And here are my pet hates: People dressed as animals, whistling, being rushed, being made to wait, girls who act stupid to impress a man, spiders, sunburn and rocket (it comes with EVERYTHING!)

I might give this a try once my other top coats run out. I have used Seche base coat though and felt it was pretty decent.
